Question 1

Where is MJ Byggeri based?

Accepted Answer

We’re based in Hjärnarp and focus primarily on Ängelholm Municipality. That means short distances, local understanding, and a setup that works in real life — from first contact to final finishing touches. Address: Söndrebaljsvägen 240, 266 97 Hjärnarp. Tell us what you want to do and where, and we’ll take the next step.

Question 2

When was MJ Byggeri founded?

Accepted Answer

The company started in 2010, while the local building and carpentry experience goes back to 2003 through years with other building companies before MJ Byggeri AB started. We’re happy to highlight more than 23 years of experience. The value for you is experience in planning, a feel for details, and a habit of keeping things organized. Our aim is that you feel confident during the project — and satisfied when it’s finished.

Question 3

Do you run coordinated contracting projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you want one clear point of contact, we can run the project as coordinated contracting and coordinate relevant trades when needed. You get a clearer flow and fewer loose ends. At the same time, you can also choose a smaller scope — we’re just as comfortable doing partial projects and building service work.

Question 4

Do you take smaller building jobs?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Not every job needs to be a massive project to deserve good craftsmanship. Building service can mean repairs, adjustments, upgrades, or finishing work — the kind of things that make a big difference day to day. Tell us what you need and where it is in Ängelholm Municipality, and we’ll help you choose the right approach.

Question 5

How do you handle wet-room authorization?

Accepted Answer

Wet rooms require the right competence and authorization for each step. That’s why we plan the work carefully and bring in qualified partners when the project includes regulated wet-room tasks. You get a safer setup where the right people do the right parts — while we keep the overall project coordinated so you don’t have to manage multiple contacts.

Question 6

Do you coordinate electrical and other trades?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when the scope requires it. We can coordinate through a network of qualified trades — typically electrical, tiling, painting, and other technical specialists depending on the project. The point is to reduce friction: fewer scheduling conflicts, clearer sequencing, and regular check-ins so you know what’s next.

Question 7

Do you offer fixed quotes or hourly?

Accepted Answer

Both options can be possible, depending on the project and how clearly the scope can be defined. What matters is clarity: what’s included, what comes next, and how changes are handled if something appears during the work. Our goal is straightforward communication and a setup you can trust.

Question 8

Can you help with the ROT deduction?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can support ROT tax deduction handling on the invoice when applicable. Typically, you need to own the property and provide your personal identity number for correct processing. We keep it simple: what you need to know before deciding, and what’s practical to have in place before we start.

Question 9

Do you work outside Ängelholm Municipality?

Accepted Answer

Our primary focus is Ängelholm Municipality. For the right projects, we can also take work in Båstad Municipality and Lomma Municipality (Bjärred). Send the details and location, and we’ll be direct about whether it’s a good fit.

Question 10

Do you have contractor insurance coverage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have contractor insurance (including liability), which is an important baseline for professional building work. Combined with clear check-ins and the right competence for each step, it helps create a stable project experience from start to finish.
